U.S. Rail Carload and Intermodal Volumes Grow: Signs of Steady Freight Recovery
For the week ending August 30, 2025, the Association of American Railroads (AAR) reported that U.S. rail carload volumes rose 0.6% year-over-year, while intermodal container and trailer volumes increased 1.2%.
